COUGARS ANNUAL BBQ & AWARDS BANQUET

This years BBQ is being held on December 13th from 11:30-2:30pm at Camarillo Grove Park. To purchase tickets, please see your Team Mom.  Click here for the BBQ Flyer.

EQUIPMENT RETURN

Please return equipment to Somis Field on the Monday following your team's elimination from play-offs. We will be accepting equipment on Monday's from 5:30 - 6:30 by the shed at Somis Field. Equipment to be returned includes the following:

Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Black Pants, Gold Pants, 7 Pad Set & Belt

Equipment should be clean and dry. Please bag your 7 pad set in a ziploc baggy. See your Team Mom for further details. Team trophies will be withheld until all equipment is returned.

Thank you to everyone for coming together and working towards a common goal in helping raise money and awareness during Saturday's event. Through our efforts, we were able to raise nearly $2100.00 which will be donated to the American Cancer Society!

2009 COUGAR BOARD NOMINATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED

Many of our current board members are retiring after this season and we need some quality people who are willing to help out. I would like to have coaches or committed parents from each division to help us provide a broader base of experience and better understand the challenges each face so we can continue to be a kids focused, well run organization. At our December 8th Board meeting, we will be voting in our new board of directors for the 2009 season. Attached are descriptions of the Cougar Board and Management positions which describes each position and their respective duties. If you would like to volunteer or nominate a quality individual who is willing to help out our program, please send an email to Camcougars@verizon.net To complete the nomination process, we will need a completed Declaration of Interest Form by November 28th.

Our board meeting and elections will be held December 8th at 7pm at the Ventura County Star building located at 550 Camarillo Center Drive - by the outlets. All nominees must attend this meeting in order to be considered.
